In the beginning of the series we talked about making little changes. Making little changes and consistency really add up to big results. Start with exercise, You would be much better off to take a walk every single day, than to simply hit the gym once or twice a week while remaining sedentary the rest of the week.
If you wanted healthier teeth you would never brush just once a week and expect dramatic results at your next check up. Small consistent changes add up over time to big results.
I will often jokingly say " I do not sell microwaves, I sell crock-pots" We are looking to make changes that you can live with daily for the rest of your life. You don't have to hit the gym daily but you must move daily, You don't have to be in perfect balance every hour of every day, some days are work days, some days are days off. You do have to live in balance on a schedule that works for you. Some people work Monday through friday, some work 10 days on and 3 off, others work for 2 weeks straight with a week or two off. If the only way to Balance your life is on a weekly or even monthly schedule then do it consistently.
Consistence also means you have to give things time to work. You can not start a business and "try it" for a month. You can't quit your healthy eating plan after a bad day at the scale, you have to give the small consistent efforts a chance to work.
Otherwise you may just be giving up right before you hit the finish line.
