Before reading the book you should choose a will power challenge, something you want to work on. I suggest reading the book once, and then going back to stop and really focus on each willpower exercise. The book is well written, and although she does explain brain-science and psychology, I think even "regular people" wouldn't be bored. I of course find that fascinating either way, but Kelly does a great job of keeping the book interesting.

Since reading the book I've managed to improve on some things in my own life. Although I was doing fairly well before the book, I've managed to get to bed earlier, waste less time, get up earlier, walk more and write more. I'm very happy.
I actually read the book to learn more about willpower to help my clients, but I found that anyone can use more willpower, even me. There is always room for improvement and this book is absolutely fantastic.
